HSS - Cutters
High-speed steel is characterized by high wear resistance, high hardness, tempering resistance and heat resistance of up to 600°C. Titanium nitride coatings further enhance these properties and improve corrosion resistance. HSS cutting bodies allow a high cutting speed and have large chip spaces. They are insensitive to shocks and vibrations, enabling smaller wedge angles and a low surface roughness. Special solutions can also be easily implemented.
