Thanks to their extreme hardness and wear resistance, PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tools are the ultimate solution for machining non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium or brass as well as for highly abrasive composite materials such as GRP, CFRP and modern plastics. Due to their extreme hot hardness and chemical resistance, CBN (cubic boron nitride) tools are the first choice for machining hardened steels, various cast iron materials and high-temperature superalloys. We have a wide range of carbide blanks that are ideally suited for corresponding ISO or special inserts \/ inserts. On request, we are happy to incorporate chip breakers into the carbide inserts using laser machining to improve chip evacuation. The exact run-off contour is determined in advance using CAD and then implemented. This effectively prevents long flow chips. We also recommend a coating, which significantly increases the service life of the cutting edge.
